Equipment charges on the Biz Mobile Netbook 2GB Promo, Biz Mobile Netbook 2GB, Biz Mobile Netbook 5GB, Biz Mobile Netbook 8GB plan
The terms set out below apply if you are a small and medium business customer and connected to the service between 31 March 2010 and 30 September 2010 on a Biz Mobile Netbook 2GB Promo, Biz Mobile Netbook 2GB, Biz Mobile Netbook 5GB, Biz Mobile Netbook 8GB plan and you purchase an approved computer with an dual band (2100/900MHz) embedded modem from us for use with the service.
When you purchase the computer with dual band embedded modem from us the terms of the mobile equipment payment plan (see Appendix D) apply.
You may choose to:
pay the entire amount upfront, in which case we will bill you for the purchase price in yourfirst bill, or
pay for the cost of the computer by paying a fixed amount each month over the equipment term (see Appendix D for more details) in accordance with clause 5.3(d) of the service description, in which case we will bill you the monthly equipment charge each month for the length of the equipment term..
Details of and the purchase prices for the computer with dual band embedded modem vary from time to time and are available from us and our participating agents.
The length of the equipment term we will agree to depends upon the length of the minimum term of the pricing plan you select.
The equipment term we will agree to is 24 months

Equipment Charges on a Business Mobile Broadband (Biz MBB) plan
The terms set out below apply if you connect to the service on or after 28 June 2010 on a Business Mobile Broadband (Biz MBB) pricing plan; and you purchase an approved Roamer modem or InZone modem orapproved computer with a dual band (2100/900MHz) embedded modem from us for use with the service.
When you purchase the Roamer modem or InZone modem or computer with dual band embedded modem from us the terms of the mobile equipment payment plan (see Appendix D) apply.
You may choose to:
pay the entire amount upfront, in which case we will bill you for the purchase price in your first bill, or
if applicable to the modem, pay for the cost of the modem by paying a fixed amount each month over the equipment term (see Appendix D for more details) in accordance with clause 5.3(d) of the service description, in which case we will bill you the monthly equipment charge each month for the length of the equipment term.
Details of and the purchase prices for the Roamer modem or InZone modem orDual band embedded modem vary from time to time and are available from us and our participating agents.

Equipment Charges on the Optus Tablet Plans if you connect on or after 15 December 2011until 7 April 2012
The terms set out below apply if you connect to the service either on or after 15 December 2011 on an Optus Tablet pricing plan; and you purchase an approved tablet with a dual band (2100/900MHz) embedded modemfrom us for use with the service.
When you purchase the tablet with dual band embedded modem from us the terms of the mobile equipment payment plan (see Appendix D) apply. You may choose to:
pay the entire amount upfront, in which case we will bill you for the purchase price in your first bill, or
pay for the cost of the tablet by paying a fixed amount each month over the equipment term (see Appendix D for more details) in accordance with clause 5.3(d) of the service description, in which case we will bill you the monthly equipment charge each month for the length of the equipment term. Details of and the purchase prices for the tablet with dual band embedded modem vary from time to time and are available from us and our participating agents.
The length of the equipment term we will agree to depends upon the length of the minimum term of the pricing plan you select.
The equipment term we will agree to is:
12 months if the agreement is a fixed length agreement with a 12 month minimum term;
24 months if the agreement is a fixed length agreement with a 24 month minimum term.
Device Credit
If you connect to the Optus Tablet Plan with a device repayment, you will receive a Device Credit of $5, $7, $10, $15 or $20 as set out for each month for the contracted period of your plan, reducing the monthly repayment costs of the device.
If you cancel your plan or the device repayments during the contracted period, you will no longer be entitled to further Device Credits and you must pay the remaining device repayments in addition to any Termination Fees.
The Device Credit can only be used to offset the costs of the device on the plan.
Optus Tablet Plans – 12 month Contract excluding device credit

The terms set out below apply if you connect to the service between 1 July 2011 and 31 December 2011on an Optus Tablet pricing plan; and you purchase an approved tablet with a dual band (2100/900MHz) embedded modemfrom us for use with the service.
When you purchase the tablet with dual band embedded modem from us the terms of the mobile equipment payment plan (see Appendix D) apply.
You may choose to:
pay the entire amount upfront, in which case we will bill you for the purchase price in your first bill, or

The terms set out below apply if you connect to the service on or after 8 April 2012 on a Optus Data pricing plan and you purchase an approved device, or you connect to the service with your own compatible Mobile Broadband modem or embedded device such as a computer or tablet with an inbuilt 3G dual band (2100/900 MHz) modem.
If you purchase an approved device through Optus:
pay the entire amount for the cost of the device upfront, in which case we will bill you for the purchase price in your first bill, or
pay for the cost of the device by paying a fixed amount each month over the equipment term (see Appendix D for more details) in accordance with clause 5.3(d) of the service description, in which case we will bill you the monthly equipment charge each month for the length of the equipment term.
Details of and the purchase prices for the devices vary from time to time and are available from us and our participating agents.
Paragraph (d) below refers to the mobile equipment payment plan so that the length of the equipment term we will agree to depends upon the length of the minimum term of the pricing plan you select.
