II Accounts
The Boxmasters Cash Account for the year ended 15th September 1949 was submitted along with the Vouchers and these were approved.
III. Election of Office Bearers
(a). Deacon.
On the motion of Bailie William Clark seconded by Mr Andrew Black, Mr Andrew Wallace was unanimously re-elected Deacon for the ensuing year.
(b) Boxmaster.
On the motion of the Deacon seconded by Ex-Convener R J Loggie Mr James A Davidson was unanimously elected Boxmaster for the ensuing year.
(c) Committee.
It was intimated that Messers John M Robb, David Reid and James A Davidson were due to retire but that Mr James A Davidson having been elected Boxmaster remained a Member of the Committee there were therefore three vacancies to fill.
The following Members were elected to the Committee to fill the vacancies and to hold Office for two years viz: Messers Norman M Allan, David Watt and John D Inches.
(d) Clerk
Mr Douglas D Urquhart was unanimously re-elected as Clerk to the Craft.
IV. New Members
It was intimated that an Initiation Meeting had been fixed for Friday 16th December.

Initiation Meeting
It was agreed to hold an Initiation Meeting in Gray’s Rooms on Friday 14th December for the purpose of initiating the following Candidates whose initiation originally arranged for 24th March 1949 was postponed owing to the death of Deacon George Melville, namely:
David Bell Barclay, Douglas Banks Dundas, Charles G Lang, Arthur J Millar, Duncan S Millar, Stewart Mitchell, Ralph Pride and Edward J Simpson
The Meeting fixed the price of the Supper Ticket at 12/6.

I. Minutes
The Minutes of Meetings of Committee held on 7th October 1949. 20th November 1949, 9th February 1950 and 24th February 1950 were read and approved.
II. Arrangements for Meetings 190/51
(a). Annual General Meeting and Annual Dinner
It was agreed to combine the Annual General Meeting to be held in 1850 with a renewal of the Annual Dinner at which Members could invite guests and it was remitted to the Deacon and the Clerk to make all the necessary arrangements and to report to the next Meeting of Committee.
(b). Initiation Meeting
It was agreed to hold one Initiation Meeting during the Season only in March in Gray’s Rooms.

III. Annual General Meeting & Annual Dinner
He Deacon reported the arrangements made by him and the Clerk in connection with the Annual Dinner to be held in Kidd’s Rooms on 1st November after the Annual General Meeting.
The Committee approved and it was agreed that invitations to the dinner should be sent to the following: Lord Provost Fenton, The Convener of the Nine Trades, the Chaplain to the Nine Trades, The Lotd Dean of Guild, The Convener of the Three Trades and Sheriff K Cullen
